Sam has been the love of my life for years and living without him has been difficult.  He has been deployed with the Ohio National Guard for close to a year and should be home within three months.  I wear my Hero Bracelet as a testament to our love and my commitment to him.  It helps me to feel as though he’s really with me everywhere I go.  It also catches folks’ eyes and I’m able to share with them my pride in Sam’s service and sacrifice.  Sam really is my hero- for what he does as a soldier and for who he is as a man.  I could not be more honored to wear his name on my wrist.
