My son SSG Marvin Lee Trost lll was killed in Iraq on Dec. 5th, 2004. He was my oldest son. He was just 28 years old when he died. He was a true American. I was just 16 when I had “Lee”, so we grew up together. We were very close. He was always there when you needed him, and no matter where he was, he always found a way to make it home when anything was going on.He was a great older brother to his other brothers, and he always lit up a room when he entered. He was always full of energy, and no matter who you were he would always help you if you needed help. He was smart and funny, and VERY creative. A gifted artist. He was everything to me, and he is sorely missed every day.

I am grieved for your loss. I am a student of Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana. In my AP U.S. History class we are gathering information of the fallen veterans of Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I would appreciate it if you could email me at josh124@sbcglobal.net or my teacher, at ushistoryman@yahoo.com so that we may complete our file on Marvin
Thank you,
Josh
