Our son Capt. (postumously promoted to
Major) was a USMC Pilot. His Cobra helicopter was shot down by a
surface-to-air missile near Ar Ramadi on 2 November 2005. Both
Michael and his fellow pilot Gerald Bloomfield were killed. GT66
