Pvt. Nicholas S. Cook, 19, of Hungry Horse, Montana, died March 7, 2010, in Konar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire. Pvt. Cook was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Camp Ederle, Italy.
