Lance Cpl. Christopher B. Rodgers, 20, of Griffin, Georgia, died September 1, 2010, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Lance Cpl. Rodgers was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
