Each Aegis Style HeroBracelet is a genuine original piece of art, meant to be worn proudly for generations. Each is individually cut, formed, hand-stamped, smoothed and polished when you order.

The design is very unique. They start as 1/4" thick solid copper bars. Then they are individually cut, formed, hand-stamped, smoothed and polished when you order. Because there are three sides, you can have them customized on each side, front, top and bottom.

And each bracelet is individually numbered with a unique serial number and dated to the day it was made. No two will ever be exactly alike. This is the most unique way to remember someone you love who is serving or has paid the ultimate sacrifice. Because this is a hand made bracelet, expect unique character in everything, from the burnished finish on the metal to the individually hand stamped letters (Which may appear crooked or uneven- this is the design!) . This is NOT cranked out by a computer and imported. This is hand-made right here in Austin, Texas!

FITTING YOUR LEGION HEROBRACELET. The Aegis style HeroBracelet is made from heavy solid copper. It is 1/4" thick and 6 1/2" around. Because of the thickness of the copper, it's best to measure your wrist before ordering to insure a good fit. Generally, the opening on the bracelet is around 1 1/4" which should be just wide enough to get over your wrist. If you've got a larger or smaller wrist, let us know in your customer notes and we'll cut the bracelet to fit you properly. This is definitely a man's bracelet! Before we put them up on the site, we asked a lot of people to wear them and the guys all wanted one and the ladies all said it's too big and heavy. So know this up front! (The sterling HeroBracelets may be ordered in a small size, and they are lovely for women).

YOUR COPPER FINISH. Legion Series HeroBracelets come in two finishes. You can choose to have your bracelet highly polished or left with a natural patina. It's the difference between a shiny, new copper penny and a well worn penny the hue of darkened bronze. Eventually all copper will take on the natural patina, but once it's been polished, it's easy to keep it shiny with a polishing cloth or a little brass polish once in a while.

THE LEGION HEROBRACELET GUARANTEE. We so believe in the ultimate quality and durability of our Legion HeroBracelets, we'll warranty it for 100 YEARS. If it ever breaks or becomes unreadable, we'll replace it (unless you spent a LOT of energy trying to break it! Under normal wear, it will last long enough to be handed down to your distant ancestors).
