A Saturday afternoon with Purple Heart Veterans.

We were lucky enough to spend Saturday with Purple Heart Veterans from Central Texas. It was a BBQ in a beautiful ranch in Driftwood, a short drive from where we live in Austin.

We met a lot of truly amazing Veterans, including several from WWII. There was a large collection of military paraphenalia and great food.

The best part was meeting the Veterans though. If you ever have an opportunity to meet these great people, please do so. You'll be rewarded well for your time.

We brought 75 pounds of books that we're sending to Forward Operating Bases in Afghanistan and these vets signed them all with notes to our troo
