EOD Curtis R. Hall was killed outside of Kirkuk Iraq on April 6, 2007, the day after my mother’s birthday. Curtis had called home the night before his to wish mom a happy birthday. What a blessing it was to have talked to him one last time. He was in a five vehicle convoy and his vehicle was hit by a rocket from 5 cliks away. My son Spc Stephen P. Downing II was killed in Ar Ramadi, Iraq on Oct. 28, 2004. He was in an uparmored humvee in the gunners hatch. They were on Ogden Recon guarding the gate to Camp Ramadi. My son, David Roddy was killed in Iraq on September 16, 2006. He was in the Navy since 1999, and was stationed in Little Creek, VA. He was an EOD. His job was to take the robot and dismantle all of the IED’s that the Marines found. Unfortunately, the insurgents were watching him and they proceded to detinate one via cell phone. We lost our daughter, Cpl. Carrie Lee French in Iraq on June 5, 2005. She was a mamber of the Idaho Army National Guard and stationed in Kirkuk, Iraq.
