Whenever the presidential campaign trail gets to John McCain, all he has to do is look down at his wrist. McCain said he has been wearing a bracelet in memory of Cpl. Matthew Stanley ever since Stanley's mother gave it to him two months ago while he was campaigning in New Hampshire. The 22-year-old soldier was killed last year in Iraq. My Hero, SPC Fischer.

pfc-008.jpgSPC Fischer is stationed in Al Qayyarah, Iraq. Christopher has been deployed there since January of 2008. He is with the 76th Infantry Brigade. We live in a small town in Indiana called Dunkirk. Chris is well known and has lots of people supporting him back here at home. He is 19 years old. His birthday is November 5. Sergeant James J. Regan, 26, of Manhasset, New York, died February 9, 2007, in northern Iraq of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle while on combat patrol. Our son, our hero. Spec. Kevin Luna.

Kevin was the oldest of my three sons and was almost nineteen when he enlisted in the Army. After boot camp he was stationed in Germany and was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor Division, ( THE BIG RED ONE). My hero 1st is my son Sgt John Steadman jr,He just got back from Afganistan 3 months ago and had been there 15 months. He left behind a large family including a wife ,2 small sons and a daughter. He got ambushed more than once, shot out all the time, food wasnt so good. He had health problems but had to suffer thru them until he came back to the states and is still waiting for them to be taken care of.
