My Hero, My son. SPC Timothy Goldacker.

My hero on my hero bracelet is   my son SPC Timothy Goldacker. Tim spent 15 months in Iraq. This was an unbelievable time for our entire family. I was filled with every emotion a human being could have. Great pride, fear, sadness and helplessness to name a few. We spent holidays and birthdays without him and he without us. I ordered several of your memorial KIA bracelets. Pretty powerful statement. I wear one now with the name of a Marine from Texas. My Hero, LCPL Efrain Sanchez.

My hero is LCPL Efrain Sanchez. He is my hero because  he gave the ultimate for what he believed in . I did not know him but being a Marine as LCPL Efrain Sanchez was, I know his values and his beliefs as a Marine. Lcpl Efrain Sanchez was from New York as am I . He died July 17 2005. My best friend from the Marines also has the same birthday.  This was the HeroBracelet sent to me and he's my hero as are all service members who sacrifice for us! Christopher Arc

My Hero, Genaro Acosta, Army, Specialist.

In Honor of my youngest brother Genaro "G' Acosta. we were seperated at a small age due to a divorce. We had went about 17 years with no contact. Then in 1997 he came to see me. We were trying to make up for lost time. He enlisted in the army in 1999-2000. He was very special and had many talents. He was deployed in April 2003, Had his 26th Birthday in Iraq, Reenlisted in October, and was killed by a roadside bomb on Nov.11,2003. His comrades captured Saddam Hussein on Dec. 13,2003. My Hero, my nephew Zak.

My Hero is my nephew Zak.   He is a Marine and a darn good one.  His Dad was a Marine also and fought in Viet Nam.   Zak got through a tour in Afghanastan and then another tour in Iraq.  He has seen and done things that our young men should not have to.   But then because of men like Zak, we life in a nation that allows us to be who we are and have the freedoms we know and love.
