I just saw a piece on this on ABC's World News (Charlie Gibson).  It needs to be posted if it hasn't been.  www.americanwidowproject.org A very needed place for support for the widows of this war.  The site has resources, a place to share stories, ask for help, etc.  They also get together and have fun, knowing each other and supporting each other as no one else can. A birthday wish for my son.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERO! I flew into San Diego yesterday afternoon and checked in to the Navy Lodge on North Island.  It feels so very familiar as I have been here numerous times before. I always seem to get the rooms with the views of Point Loma.
