Hero Stories for Deployed Bracelets

People wearing your memorial bracelets.

Dear Herobracelets folks, I was shopping last week and the gentleman in front of me at the checkout line was wearing a black bracelet with a name on it. I asked him about his bracelet and he explained to me that he bought it to remember his nephew, who was killed in Afghanistan. We were both pretty moved and, I have to admit, I started to get pretty emotional. I'm sure people around the checkout line were wondering what was going on. Two people who had never met were on the verge of tears and...

Army bracelets are a fitting tribute.

Dear HeroBracelets, We ordered a dozen of your Army Bracelets last week and they arrived today. I must say, we are all thrilled. My nephew is in the Army and currently serving in Iraq. We all wanted something to remind us of him daily and the Army Bracelets with his name are perfect. I put mine on right out of the package and I plan on wearing it till he comes home. My Heroes Are People I Have Never Met.

I became a volunteer/supporter with Adopt A Platoon several years ago. By exchanging letters, e-mails and photos, I have had the opportunity to get to know some of the men and women who serve our country. I will probably never meet them face to face. Their serve our country because of their profound patriotism and love for what we cherish in America - our Freedom. They don’t consider themselves Heroes, but they are all Heroes to me. I always ask my adopted Soldiers if there is anything t...
